GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Optometrist is a leader in the organization, delivering the brand promise and key results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all patients receive high-quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing results, and fostering growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. The Associate Optometrist serves as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards to go above and beyond.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure executional excellence and achieve results in partnership with the MOD and store team.
  2. Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through KPI management and accountability.
  3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
  4. Collaborate effectively with all organizational leaders and local market stakeholders.
  5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.
  6. Strive to exceed all KPIs.
  7. Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, and using visual aids for patient understanding.
  8. Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
  9. Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
  10. Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
  11. Maintain office systems and state licensure, fulfilling continuing education requirements.
  12. Train and guide team members using company programs.
  13. Provide timely and constructive feedback to staff.
  14. Create a positive, motivating culture aligned with corporate values.
  15. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
  16. Foster partnerships through leadership and involvement.
  17. Maintain a professional and welcoming office appearance.
  18. Ensure a safe working environment for all.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Doctor of Optometry degree.
  2. Commitment to quality patient care.
  3. Knowledge of current optometric theories and technology.
  4. Effective communication and listening skills.
  5. Problem-solving abilities.
  6. Strong organizational skills.
