Job summary

The GIANT Company in Carlisle, PA is hiring for a stock associate who checks inventory daily, removes out-of-date items, stocks pallets in the cooler, and maintains displays.

You will follow department directions, prepare for duties, and keep surfaces and equipment clean and sanitized. This role requires reading and following safety rules, and a commitment to attendance and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow policies and safety rules.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet attendance standards.
• Must wear approved clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have and maintain required licenses, certificates, or permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare with PPE and supplies.
• Follow directions from department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
