Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Functional Reconstructive Urologist to lead FRU clinical services and expand regional outreach. The role focuses on complex reconstruction, lower urinary tract dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, and gender-affirming surgical care.

You will collaborate with CU – Urology North and supervise trainees while advancing research and academic mentorship within a busy, patient-centered division.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in urology.
• Completion of a Functional and/or Reconstructive Urology fellowship.
• Current or ability to obtain a Colorado medical license with prescriptive privileges.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in clinical care, teaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent functional and reconstructive urology clinical services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform complex FRU surgeries with comprehensive perioperative care.
• Collaborate with urology and surgical colleagues for multidisciplinary care and transgender program integration.
• Supervise APPs, fellows, residents, and medical students in ambulatory, inpatient, and operative settings.
• Participate in FRU Fellowship teaching, surgical instruction, and career mentorship.
• Engage in resident and medical student education and clinical labs.
