Job summary

Meijer is hiring at its Michigan distribution center to manage receiving, storage, and shipment of Fresh and Frozen foods. Starting pay is $19.75 per hour, with a $1 premium and a nighttime premium after 5pm.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to inventory controls within a large multi-state retailer. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Strong attendance and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Coordinate with drivers and unloaders for receiving and shipping of Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during safe transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Complete receiving, order, and shipping processes accurately.
• Maintain sanitation standards and safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
