Job summary

The role requires reading and following directions, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work with fresh and frozen foods, interact with customers, and support the team to meet company

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products with minimal allergy risk.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the department.
• Operate equipment and monitor refrigerated storage areas.
• KnowFrozen products and price differences; keep stock in order.
• Price items accurately and ensure proper signage for sales.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Unloading trucks and transporting merchandise to the Frozen Foods Department.
• Rotate and stock frozen merchandise; ensure proper labeling.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and company policies.
