Job summary

Kevin’s Natural Foods in Stockton, CA is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all production operations at our Imperial Manufacturing Facility, including on-site warehousing. The role drives safety, quality, and cost objectives while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will own the site’s 3-year improvement plan, cascade to 1-year and 90-day actions, oversee scheduling, inventory, and compliance with USDA, FDA, and SQF standards, and develop frontline leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing operations within a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience with IQF, blast freezer, and/or spiral freezer operations preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with Quality Assurance, Operations, Maintenance, Materials, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
• Familiarity with TPM/IWS/WCM programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the factory 3-year improvement plan – align to site priorities and cascade to 1-year and 90-day plans.
• Drive daily/weekly meetings to identify gaps to standard performance and implement action plans.
• Lead factory scheduling processes to ensure raw/pack availability and on-time outbound shipments.
• Develop and deploy Manufacturing Excellence pillars and embed behavior framework.
• Coach and develop front-line leaders; manage performance, engagement, and absenteeism.
