Hy-Vee is hiring a Frozen Foods Clerk in our Texas Belton area to provide prompt, friendly customer service in the Frozen Foods department. You will rotate and replenish merchandise, ensure cleanliness, and monitor case temperatures to maintain product quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; six months or less of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Must be able to physically perform medium work and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service to customers.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner and learns their names when possible.
• Assists customers by guiding them to products, securing items, and handling requests to improve the shopping experience.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service to callers, including taking orders.
• Works with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Rotates and replenishes merchandise and ensures highest quality standards are met.
• Maintains department cleanliness and proper product display with visible labels.
• Unloads trucks, checks in products, and organizes storage areas.
• Adheres to company policies and personal hygiene/dress guidelines.
