Job description

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals for the department, and monitor all quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise department functions and support day-to-day Frozen Foods operations. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent service, demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Management experience
  • Retail experience
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities include promoting trust and respect among associates, communicating company and department information, fostering teamwork, establishing performance goals, managing scheduling, training and developing staff, ensuring legal compliance, creating welcoming environments, maintaining product knowledge, developing business plans, understanding store layout, executing sales promotions, staying current with store ads, assisting with financial reviews, managing inventory, adhering to food safety regulations, and reporting safety risks or illegal activities.
