The NbC Froster / Baker ensures high-quality cakes are consistently produced to meet guest expectations and contributes to excellent service by fulfilling production demands. Following proprietary recipes, baking methods, and food safety standards, the Baker performs the baking and frosting processes for various flavors and sizes. The Froster / Baker embodies NbC core values and is committed to excellence and efficiency.

Accountabilities/Duties:
  • Follow NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods accurately to meet productivity goals.
  • Use measuring instruments, commercial mixers, ovens, and other tools effectively to bake and frost cakes.
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment, monitor baking processes, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of cakes.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager with production planning, inventory monitoring, and replenishment of supplies.
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and finished cakes to ensure quality standards are met, reporting any issues.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain adequate supply levels of frosted cakes for display and pre-orders, prioritizing according to schedule.
  • Keep workstation clean, sanitized, and stocked, and assist with equipment cleaning as needed.
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

  • Be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous bakery or foodservice experience is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule:

Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Compensation: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
