Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to support defense and intelligence customers by operationalizing satellite imagery for tactical use. This hybrid role requires working on-site at customer locations approximately 50% of the time, and encompasses responsibilities including training intelligence analysts and developing geospatial Python automation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SAR physics and experience with satellite imagery analysis. Excellent communication skills in English and a willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Remote Sensing, Geophysics, GIS, Geography, or related field.
• Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting satellite imagery.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Train and support intelligence analysts using SAR imagery.
• Configure and optimize ICEYE ISR Suite for customer use cases.
• Develop Python geospatial automation tailored to customer needs.

Skills

Understanding of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) physics

Strong programming skills in Python

Excellent communication skills in English

Experience analyzing satellite imagery

Education
