Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within the limit of authority. Mentors junior employees.

This is a remote position for an experienced PIP Claims Adjuster with a strong background in Florida claims handling.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims, including conducting thorough investigations and identifying potential fraudulent activity. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases.
  • Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships.
  • Handles investigations regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability, damages) with discretion and independence within increased authority.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and negotiates moderate to complex injury claims involving injuries.
  • Recognizes vehicle body parts and understands potential property damage.
  • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.

Education

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - $85,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Total compensation includes base pay plus incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable.
