The DC Army National Guard Infantry unit seeks dedicated Soldiers to be the backbone on ground operations, taking or holding ground during combat, using advanced weapons and tactics.

You will train 14 weeks Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, get paid to train, earn a paycheck, and qualify for tuition assistance. Benefits include Montgomery GI Bill, health care, and retirement for part-time service.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist in reconnaissance operations.
• Employ, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.
• Operate weapon systems under various conditions, including engaging targets using night vision sights.
• Operate and maintain communications equipment.
• Perform as a member of a fire team during training and combat missions.
• Process prisoners of war and captured documents.
• Aid in the mobilization of vehicles, troops, and weaponry.
• Use, maintain, and store combat weapons (e.g., rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines, etc.)
