Job summary

Penn State Altoona is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Development to engage alumni and friends in supporting Penn State Altoona. You will report to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations, working with college leadership to drive major gift strategies and cultivation programs.

The role requires identifying prospects, communicating Penn State's needs, and executing solicitations while traveling extensively to meet ambitious fundraising metrics and build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate a prospect pool of graduates and key constituencies.
• Articulate Penn State's needs, ambitions, and values through proposals and communications.
• Plan and execute solicitation strategies leading to major gifts.
• Travel regionally and nationally to build relationships and meet fundraising metrics.
