Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Landfill Scale Operator in Independence, LA. The role involves inspecting incoming waste and managing placement on site, moving and spreading waste, and ensuring safe and efficient site operations.

Responsibilities include operating a front-end loader and other heavy equipment, interpreting disposal policies, maintaining records, and following written and oral instructions. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• 24 hour Landfill Operators License preferred.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment.
• Understand refuse disposal policies, procedures, guidelines and practices.
• Manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
• Carry out oral and written instructions and maintain records.
• Attend corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keep up to date on current technology used by Waste Pro USA.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
