DC Army National Guard is seeking Health Care Specialists to serve as first responders and medical caretakers for civilians after disasters and for Soldiers.

You will learn and apply basic to advanced medical care, manage supplies, and support medical readiness while training through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training. Eligible applicants gain valuable hands-on medical experience and opportunities for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Willingness to undergo military training and potentially deploy.
• Interest in health care and science disciplines is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties.
• Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment.
• Instruct Soldiers on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course.
• Manage Soldiers' medical readiness, medical supplies, and equipment.
