Job summary

The U.S. Army is seeking experienced Emergency Room/Trauma Nurses to join the Army Nurse Corps.

You will be on the front lines of care for Soldiers and their families, operating across the continuum from forward-based units to fixed facilities in diverse missions. You will train to become proficient in critical care trauma nursing, engage in education and research, and contribute as a trusted leader in medicine within the Army healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted nursing license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to serve Active Duty.
• Must have permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care to Soldiers and their families across the continuum of care.
• Operate in locations from forward-based units to fixed facilities during combat missions, humanitarian missions, and peacetime.
• Engage in ongoing education, research, and consultation to apply current best practices in emergency nursing.
