Job summary

The U.S. Army Nurse Corps seeks experienced Emergency Room/Trauma Nurses to care for Soldiers and their families across forward-based units to fixed facilities. You will train in critical care trauma nursing and perform a wide range of nursing tasks, from assessment to intervention, in varied environments.

Active Duty or Army Reserve options apply, with avenues for education and leadership training and a competitive benefits package for eligible personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted nursing license.
• Must complete Emergency Nursing Course or waiver for documentation of emergency nursing experience.
• U.S. citizenship to serve Active Duty.
• Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line emergency care for Soldiers and families across care continuum.
• Perform critical care trauma nursing, including enroute and inpatient skills.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient health needs in diverse settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and engage in ongoing education and training.
