Associated Bank is seeking a First Line Risk Analyst-Deposits to help identify and manage risks in deposit operations. You will work with business leaders, compliance, and audit teams to ensure controls are robust and risks are properly documented.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in financial services, with up to 2 years knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements. Wisconsin-based deployment is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or Data Analytics.
• At least 3 years in Financial Services, Operations, Compliance, Audit or Risk Support.
• Up to 2 years knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk assessments and control testing across deposit processes to support regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
• Monitor deposit account activity and identify, analyze, and elevate unusual activity or potential risk events.
• Maintain accurate risk documentation, including risk and control assessments, issue logs, control inventories, and remediation records.
• Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of risk issues by gathering evidence and documenting corrective actions.
• Analyze key risk indicators, audit findings, complaints, and other risk metrics to identify emerging trends and concerns.
• Assist with risk assessments for new deposit products, services, process enhancements, and system changes.
• Prepare and support reporting, dashboards, and governance materials through accurate data collection and validation.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, risk management, and audit partners to support coordinated risk and control activities.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Data Analytics or related field
