Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years of general experience or a bachelor's degree in any field.
• GS-7 requires 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade.
• GS-9 requires 1 year of specialized experience or graduate-level education or a combination of both.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspecting individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility.
• Determining admissibility for entry into the United States and preventing illegal entry of individuals and contraband.
