Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with our manufacturing teams in Phoenix, translating complex fab challenges into scalable AI solutions.

You will prototype using Generative AI, LLMs, and rapid frameworks, work with IT and MLOps, and document results to hand over for production deployment. This role requires deep software skills and strong collaboration to learn semiconductor processes quickly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in software development and systems integration.
Strong fundamentals in software engineering and agile methods.
Proven ability to prototype AI solutions and validate quickly.
Experience with AI toolchains, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business units to understand daily operations and bottlenecks.
Design and build AI prototypes and PoCs using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
Leverage low-code/no-code platforms and rapid frameworks to iterate with end-users.
Conduct agile testing and evaluate prototypes for feasibility and value.
Partner with IT and MLOps to productionize successful prototypes.
Research and adopt emerging AI tools and methodologies to accelerate prototyping.
Maintain detailed documentation and user guides for validated prototypes.
