Job summary

Raydar, a rapidly scaling AI data and infrastructure company, is hiring in San Francisco for a hands-on AI safety lead. You will partner with frontier AI labs, manage client relationships, and deliver end-to-end safety projects in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Candidates should have 2+ years in AI safety or red teaming, hands-on adversarial experience, and a degree from a top-tier university. Expect long hours, six days per week, and a compensation package with base 130k–150k plus equity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI safety, red teaming, or related field.
• Hands-on adversarial experience (jailbreaking, stress testing frontier models, etc.).
• Experience at a frontier AI lab or major tech company.
• Degree from a top-tier university (US/Canada/Europe).
• Strong communication and client-management skills.
• Willing to work on site in San Francisco six days per week; 60+ hours when needed.
• Visa transfers such as OPT/H-1B may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI labs to design adversarial datasets and safety benchmarks.
• Own client relationships and delivery end-to-end.
• Lead cross-functional teams across software, finance, science, security, and other domains.
• Collaborate on AI research, evaluation, and data-infrastructure initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional company initiatives as an early team member.
