Focus Capital Markets is seeking an AI Product Owner to join our asset management division in New York. You will work with trading professionals, quants, AI/ML researchers, and engineers to design and own a strategy for AI products that create measurable value across the business.

This is a large-scale Gen AI initiative with end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, interfacing with top quantitative talent.

Job description

Focus Capital Markets is introducing an AI product owner to work directly in our asset management division. In this role, you will partner with trading professionals, quants, AI/ML researchers, engineers to develop a strategy for AI products that create value across the business. This is a large-scale, multibillion dollar Gen AI initiative and requires someone who can take end-to-end ownership of the AI product lifecycle while interfacing with some of the top quantitative professionals in the world.

You will serve as the conduit between the AI technology team and the business stakeholders, defining strategy for AI product development and adoption.

This role sits at the intersection of frontier AI technology and financial operations and is part of a multi-year AI transformation within the top asset manager in the country.

Although this position works alongside trading and quant professionals, we are looking for someone from a true AI and technology background, not someone in financial services. This is a role that will help define AI culture in the organization, with a heavily-weighted cash upside for the right in this seat.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience years of experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience within a frontier AI business or premiere technology company.
• Experience leveraging AI agents and LLMs professional setting.
• Prior experience engaging with AI and ML professionals to drive product creation.
• Previous experience partnering with outside AI firms including frontier labs and model providers
