Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a frontend engineer to own user-facing features end-to-end, from spec through build, deployment, and iteration. You will develop SDKs for external developers, improve CI/CD and monorepo tooling, and drive performance, observability, and design-system evolution.

A strong product mindset and a focus on accessibility and high UI quality are essential. Experience with React and TypeScript, plus familiarity with SDKs or developer APIs, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end feature ownership: own user-facing features from spec to build to deploy to iterate, making product/design tradeoffs.
• SDK development: build and maintain the SDKs external developers use to embed Footprint with clean APIs/docs.
• Platform and tooling: improve CI/CD, releases, and monorepo tooling (pnpm) for faster, safer shipping.
• Performance and observability: drive frontend performance, monitoring, and observability to catch issues early.
• Design system: own and evolve our component library and design system for consistency, accessibility, and speed.
• Customer empathy: listen to customers, dig into pain points, and turn learnings into product improvements.
