Job summary

Footprint is seeking a Member of Technical Staff (Frontend) in San Francisco or New York City, on-site. You will own user-facing features from spec to deploy, build SDKs for external developers, and contribute to platform tooling and the design system.

We require 4+ years shipping production frontend in React and TypeScript, a strong design sense, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to improve performance and observability. Compensation ranges from $180K to $260K with equity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production frontend in modern React and TypeScript.
• Own end-to-end frontend features from spec to deployment and iterate.
• Strong design sense with attention to polish, speed, and accessibility.
• Ability to lead technical decisions without over-engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own user-facing features end to end from spec to deploy.
• Develop and maintain SDKs for external developers embedding Footprint.
• Own platform tooling, CI/CD, and the monorepo workflow.
• Drive performance budgets and observability for screens users use daily.
