Job summary

Talanto in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Frontend Software Engineering Intern for 2027 to join our frontend team and help build our web and mobile experiences. You will work with React, React Native, and CSS to deliver polished UI components used by customers worldwide, on-site at our HQ during winter and summer 2027.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, own small projects end-to-end, and gain exposure to the full stack while pursuing a CS degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS degree and graduating by June 2028.
• Internship experience developing and launching products.
• Experience building reusable components, CSS preprocessors, and pixel-perfect UI.
• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
• Able to work on-site at HQ in San Mateo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Build best-in-class product experiences across the Command web platform (React) and mobile apps (React Native).
• Lead whole projects from design to implementation where appropriate.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to create user-centered features.

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Build best in class product experiences across our Command web platform (React) and mobile applications (React Native)
• Comfortable leading whole projects from design to implementation
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and the engineering team to create features which delight users and customers

What You Bring

• Ability to work at HQ during winter or summer 2027
• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study and graduating by June 2028
• Internship experience developing and launching products
• Experience building reusable components, utilizing CSS pre-processors and building pixel perfect user interfaces
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript, including contexts, prototypes/classes and closures
• Experience working with a modern web framework such as Angular.js, React or Vue
• Eye for design, product details, and polish
