Job summary

Solerity seeks a talented Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to support an onsite Denver, CO program. You will work with modern frontend tools, build user-facing interfaces, and participate in an Agile environment, consuming RESTful APIs and ensuring accessibility.

Candidates must have active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Poly. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, and open-source stacks is desired; flexible work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience using modern frontend tools to create user-facing interfaces.
• Comfortable in an Agile environment with frequent deployments.
• Proficient in integrating RESTful services and accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Frontend web development using modern techniques and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, responsive design).
• JavaScript development with modern standards and frameworks (jQuery, MV* frameworks, D3).
• Consume RESTful APIs and work within Agile teams (Scrum/Lean).
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance.
• Research and learn new programming tools and techniques.
• Work with open-source solutions and communities.
• Create web layouts from static images and build views/templates in full-stack frameworks.
• Experience with Angular/React (RESTful) and/or Java (service development).

Technical Experience We Are Seeking

Experience using modern, frontend web development tools, techniques, and methods for the creation and deployment of user-facing interfaces. Is comfortable working in an agile and lean environment to routinely deploy changes.

Primarily Responsible For

• Frontend web development using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks like LESS and SASS, Responsive Design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap)
• JavaScript development using modern standards, including strict mode compliance, modularization techniques and tools, and frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, MV* frameworks such as Backbone.js and Ember.js, D3)
• Consuming RESTful APIs
• Using and working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
• Use of version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub
• Ensuring Section 508 Compliance
• Quickly researching and learning new programming tools and techniques
• Using and working with open-source solutions and community
• Creating web layouts from static images
• Creating views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django
• Angular/React (RESTfull) AND/OR Java (Service Development Experience)

Additional Desired Qualifications Include

Requirements You Bring

• Active Top Secret clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
• Ability to obtain and maintain access required for the program.
