Job summary

IDT is seeking a frontend engineer in New Jersey to contribute across the full frontend lifecycle. You will build UIs with modern frameworks, integrate AI-assisted workflows, and collaborate with distributed teams while balancing on-site work at IDT facilities or travel to customer sites.

The role requires a CS degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of TS/JS experience, Storybook, and Linux networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of practical engineering experience with Typescript or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as a primary means of code development.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
• Experience building user interfaces with a modern component framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience using Storybook or other Mock testing tooling.
• Leveraging AI to accelerate design-to-code, iteration speed, and feature delivery.
• Working knowledge of developing software on Linux operating systems with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS).

• Experience building user interfaces with a modern component framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience using Storybook or other Mock testing tooling.
• Leveraging AI to accelerate design-to-code, iteration speed, and feature delivery.
