Job summary

Inversion is seeking a Front-end Engineer to design, develop, and maintain UI/UX for the simulation and test environments of flight systems. You will build data visualization and self-service tools to enable fast, repeatable development across the engineering stack and empower teams to deploy products with unprecedented speed.

You will collaborate with back-end engineers to deliver a seamless UX, work on compute-intensive front-end tasks, and participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret clearance.
  • 3+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience.
  • Expertise in front-end engineering and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with API architectures (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets).
  • Experience with responsive design and Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the client-side logic and interface of the simulation applications.
  • Develop the front-end tech stack for performance and maintainability.
  • Design front-end architecture balancing simplicity and flexibility.
  • Create UI for simulation configuration, management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate front-end and back-end.
  • Contribute to the simulation system to provision and deploy resources automatically.
