Ketch is redefining data privacy for the AI era and seeks a Software Engineer to build the data permissioning surfaces used across large-scale ecosystems.

You will collaborate with design, backend, and AI teams to ship fast, trustworthy interfaces that help users understand data usage and policy outcomes. This role emphasizes privacy by design and performance in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years building production web apps.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience.
• Experience with react-query is a plus.
• Familiar with async data and evolving UI flows.
• Collaborative with backend and AI engineers to shape APIs and product experiences.
• Product‑first mindset with a bias toward shipping, learning, and iterating quickly.
• Interest in privacy, data, and AI, with a desire to make complex tech intuitive.

Responsibilities

• Build interfaces where customers map their data ecosystem and monitor information flow across systems.
• Create React experiences surfacing real-time classifications, consent states, policy outcomes, and risk signals.
• Craft UI that embodies privacy by design and reaches millions of users daily.
• Turn AI insights, model explanations, and decision traces into intuitive UI.
• Develop inspection tools to reveal where sensitive data appears and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with design to build reusable components and data patterns for streaming events and large datasets.
• Partner with backend and AI teams to shape data contracts powering classification and governance.
