Job summary

Deploy is seeking a frontend engineer to join a small, fast-moving team in San Francisco. You will implement user interfaces for Deploy Data and Deploy Enterprise using React, Redux, Webpack and ES6, collaborating with design and product to deliver features with strong UX.

You will contribute to product decisions, maintain secure code, and strive for maintainable, scalable interfaces. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 with potential stock options, and a commitment to high-performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in web development.
• Experience with 3rd party APIs and libraries.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related web technologies.
• Strong grasp of React and Redux (or similar frameworks) and their concepts.
• Ability to create beautiful web products with good UX sensibilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and share knowledge with teammates.
• Excellent communication skills in collaborative environments.
• Write understandable, testable code with maintainability and scalability in mind.

Responsibilities

• Build secure custom user interfaces using React (JavaScript).
• Work with design and product teams to develop new features focused on user experience.
• Participate in product decisions and help set reasonable development deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and implement improvements.
• Adhere to OWASP top 10 practices to secure code from vulnerabilities.
• Maintain awareness of data maintenance best practices related to your role.
• Report security or policy violations to appropriate authority.
