Job summary

Sun-Net is seeking a frontend engineer to contribute to its iTOA software for the Electric Utility sector. You’ll design and implement responsive UI, focus on user experience, and collaborate with product and QA teams in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have strong JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, React, TypeScript, and experience with Bootstrap, JQuery, and JSP. US citizenship or green card required; office located in San Jose, CA; on-site role.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and modern web standards.
• Experience building responsive UI with React, TypeScript and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Understand product functionality and requirements.
• Mockup screens according to user requirements.
• Build and test responsive screens using Bootstrap, JQuery.
• Convert existing screens to responsive design techniques.
• Identify issues and collaborate with team to resolve them.
• Provide daily design/development status updates to leads.
