Climate People client is seeking a frontend-focused engineer to build intuitive React interfaces and data-rich dashboards for clean energy projects. You will work across two live products and contribute to a growing UI layer, with a strong voice in how the product looks and works.
The role is 80% frontend and 20% backend, requiring collaboration with energy domain experts. Pittsburgh-based or willing to relocate is required.
Our client builds software that helps clean energy projects connect to the electric grid faster and more reliably. Their platform is used by utilities, grid operators and renewable developers across the country. The team operates as a focused product group inside a larger, established energy software company, so you get startup-scale ownership with real stability behind it.
This is a new position, created because the company’s computational engine has grown to the point where it can support much richer customer-facing features. You’ll be the frontend-leaning engineer who makes those features clear and usable for people making high-stakes decisions about energy projects.
The work is about 80% frontend and 20% backend, with backend work in service of the UI. You’ll work across two live products and a third launching next year. The engineering team is roughly 25 people, mostly backend and computational engineers, with a small frontend group, so you’ll have a strong voice in how the product looks and works.
