U.S. Bank is seeking a frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web apps using React.js, TypeScript, and ES6+. You will build scalable SPAs and PWAs, collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, and contribute to reusable components and design systems.

This role emphasizes frontend performance, accessibility, REST/GraphQL integration, and cloud-enabled deployments, with on-site work at a U.S. Bank location several days per week.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant frontend experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with frontend state management solutions like Redux Toolkit, React Query, Context API, Zustand.
• Proficiency with Node.js, NPM/Yarn, Vite, Webpack, Babel and modern build tools.
• Experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs, plus JSON/XML handling.
• Strong knowledge of frontend testing with Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT and SSO.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and design systems (Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build responsive, accessible UIs with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Grid, and responsive design.
• Architect and develop complex SPAs and PWAs across devices.
• Manage application state with Redux Toolkit, React Query, Context API, and Zustand.
• Integrate frontend apps with REST APIs, GraphQL services, and enterprise backends.
• Optimize performance with code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Collaborate with Product/UX/QA/backend in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support CI/CD automation, frontend security, and cloud-native deployments.
