Job summary

QTech US Inc in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced React JS Developer with AWS to join a client project onsite from day one. This role is open to W2 candidates and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and AWS services, along with a proven track record delivering cloud-native web applications and integrating frontend with backend REST APIs.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of genuine U.S. experience.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and DynamoDB.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with backend REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred: Node.js/Express.js.
• Preferred: Docker/Kubernetes.
• Preferred: Jenkins/GitHub Actions/AWS CodePipeline.
• Preferred background in State or Government projects.
• Preferred knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable UI components and optimize performance.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
