Job summary

Anduril Industries in Reston, VA is seeking a Software Engineer on the Mission Software Engineering team to tackle networking, autonomy, and systems integration. You will own customer-deployed software, write code to scale mission capabilities, and collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex features.

This role requires a strong engineering background, 2–5+ years in TypeScript and frontend frameworks, distributed systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality,

Qualifications

• Engineering background from CS/SWE/Math/Physics.
• 2–5+ years of professional TypeScript experience; Go/Python preferred.
• Experience building user-facing web interfaces (React/Vue or similar).
• Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Ability to understand complex systems and navigate codebases.
• Strong debugging across distributed services.
• Strong testing discipline with CI/CD experience.
• Strong Git skills; fast-paced shipping culture.
• Desire to work on mission-critical software.
• Must be eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions deployed to customers.
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex features.
• Build and analyze metrics and dashboards to monitor production systems.
• Triage issues and drive resolution across teams.
• Write and maintain tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with end-users to translate needs into features.
• Limited travel required.
