Job summary

Nex, a remote-first company, is seeking a frontend-focused engineer to own and evolve our marketing site, CMS, and component library. You’ll collaborate directly with designers, marketers, and leadership to keep a fast, polished public web presence and a scalable design system across pages and campaigns.

You’ll partner to improve content publishing workflows, optimize performance, and ensure a delightful user experience for millions of visitors while shaping how our brand’s web experience

Qualifications

• Built production marketing sites that teams rely on and keep fast, stable, and easy to update.
• Set up or evolved a CMS for non-technical teams, focusing on content modelling and publishing workflows.
• Care about code quality, reliability, tests, and edge cases before shipping.
• Diagnosed performance bottlenecks on public sites, optimizing LCP and audits.
• End-to-end ownership from scoping to deployment and smoke testing.
• Collaborated with marketers, designers, stakeholders to translate vision into technical reality.
• DIY mindset with obsession for UX, performance, and craft; comfortable with AI-assisted tools.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern full-stack JS frameworks; experience with Svelte a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the marketing site, CMS, component library, frontend architecture, and analytics integrations.
• Collaborate with Design and Marketing to build polished, performant customer-facing web experiences.
• Maintain a smooth content publishing pipeline so teams move fast without heavy engineering dependency.
• Build lightweight integrations and tooling connecting third-party services and external APIs.
• Focus on performance and user experience from Core Web Vitals to CMS workflows.
• Develop and maintain the Web Design System and component libraries as the brand grows.
