Job summary

U.S. Bank is hiring a Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript. You will build reusable UI components, collaborate with UX designers, and ensure performance and accessibility across delivery teams.

The role emphasizes Micro Frontends (MFE), Module Federation, and DevOps-aligned workflows, with ongoing participation in sprint ceremonies and CI/CD enhancements. 3+ days on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture is a plus.
• Experience with React Query, Redux, or Context API.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and support reusable UI components and Micro Frontend (MFE) solutions.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate designs into intuitive experiences.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and align with business objectives.
• Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and performance standards.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot UI defects and performance issues.
