Job summary

Squarespace is seeking a frontend-focused engineer to own features end-to-end, working across the stack to deliver secure identity solutions. You’ll join the IAM team responsible for authentication, authorization, and account security for millions of users.

You will report to the Engineering Manager at our New York City headquarters and contribute to scalable frontend architecture and secure backend integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with modern frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/TypeScript/React) and building delightful user interfaces.
• Experience developing large-scale frontend applications and ownership of features end-to-end.
• Interest in identity/security features and integrating with OAuth, WebAuthN, and identity services.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver features end-to-end across the front-end stack.
• Build elegant user interfaces that integrate with authentication, authorization, and security services.
• Collaborate with product, design, infrastructure, platform, data, security and legal teams.
• Define frontend architecture, engineering standards, testing strategies, and developer experience.
• Integrate frontend applications with OAuth, OIDC, session management, and authorization services.
