Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a frontend/Full-stack engineer to contribute to design, development, testing, and maintenance of software experiences. You will own frontend and backend aspects, implementing scalable, secure solutions with a strong emphasis on customer experience and performance.

The role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week, collaboration across teams, and adherence to Agile/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products.
• Takes full stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
• Create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices for scalability, reliability and performance.
• Analyze failures, propose design changes and improve operations.
• Make sound design/coding decisions focused on customer experience.
• Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet standards.
• Conduct code reviews to guide engineering best practices and compliance.
• Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
• Support reliability engineering standards and modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.
