Job summary

Bobyard is hiring a frontend engineer to tackle rendering large construction drawings and dense estimate tables. You will build with React and TypeScript, focusing on performance and a delightful user experience.

We value strong React fundamentals, a good eye for design, and the ability to learn quickly. This is an in-person, full-time role in the SF Bay Area with a compelling equity package.

Qualifications

• Strong React and CSS skills to build complex layouts and interactions.
• Fluent in TypeScript and component-based architecture.
• Experience with frontend state management and performance considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship core product UI in React and TypeScript.
• Turn rough product direction into polished, production-ready interfaces.
• Improve frontend performance for large drawings and dense tables.
• Contribute to a reusable component library used by the team.
• Collaborate with product and design to shape features.
• Prototype quickly, gather feedback, and iterate on UX.
• Diagnose and fix frontend bugs and rendering issues.
