Job summary

Drivetrain is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team and implement user interfaces for our core platforms. You will work closely with designers, product owners and engineers to craft accessible, responsive interfaces.

You will handcraft UI/UX prototypes, build reusable components, and tackle performance challenges in complex frontend systems like data visualization and business modelling tools.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant frontend experience (web/UI/JavaScript or frontend role).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with ReactJS and in-browser debugging.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with performance in mind.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, product and engineering teams to build elegant, accessible, responsive interfaces.
• Prototype UI/UX designs, create interactive components, and address performance issues.
• Develop complex frontend components such as data visualization systems and spreadsheet-inspired modelling tools.
• Contribute to processes that ensure long-term engineering team success.
