Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to drive advanced user interfaces for an enterprise AI platform. You will lead frontend development, collaborate with product, UI/UX and backend teams, and focus on secure, scalable, and performant interfaces that empower organizations to manage token spend, orchestration, and governance.

The role is remote from anywhere in the United States and requires deep experience with modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns to deliver seamless experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with front-end performance optimization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack and package managers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers to craft engaging user interfaces.
• Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible workflows and interactions.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues with backend developers and fix root causes promptly.
• Optimize front-end performance via code splitting, lazy loading, and compression.

About The Role

This pivotal role involves leading the development of advanced user interfaces and experiences for our AI platform, which focuses on managing and optimizing enterprise AI services, including token spend, model orchestration, cost controls, and security governance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development, with a passion for creating seamless, responsive, and intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product teams, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to build innovative solutions that enable organizations to securely scale their AI adoption while maintaining visibility, compliance, and budget control. • Proficiency with build tools such as Webpack and package management systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers to develop engaging and interactive user experiences that enhance usability and functionality
• Create effective user experience workflows and interactions, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in partnership with back-end developers, analyzing logs and code to identify root causes and implementing timely fixes
• Optimize front-end performance through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and resource compression, continuously monitoring metrics for improvements
• Integrate AI-powered features such as chat interfaces, copilots, and conversational AI, leveraging AI/ML APIs and streaming inference responses
• Lead efforts in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end solutions for enterprise AI platforms
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry best practices, applying them to enhance platform capabilities
