Job summary

RE Partners in North Carolina seeks an experienced Frontend Developer specializing in Angular and TypeScript to design, build, and maintain responsive, scalable web applications for enterprise use.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend teams to ensure seamless data flow, robust testing, and secure, performant interfaces, with CI/CD and containerized deployments supporting delivery.

Qualifications

• Angular/TypeScript/RxJS with component-based architecture and enterprise-scale scope.
• RESTful API integration and JSON-based services.
• Strong understanding of architecture, state management, performance optimization, routing, and security best practices.
• Vitest and Playwright testing frameworks experience.
• Git-based source control and collaborative workflows.
• Java API knowledge to understand integrations and collaborate with backend teams.
• Docker-based development environments.
• Unix/Linux command-line basics (grep, less, vi, shell scripting).
• Cloud and Kubernetes exposure (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployments.
• Accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.

Job description

• Frontend Development with Angular-Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using Angular and TypeScript. Build reusable components, services, and UI frameworks that support enterprise-scale applications.
• User Experience & Interface Development-Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences.
• Application Integration-Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Work closely with backend engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow and application functionality.
• Component Architecture-Develop modular, maintainable, and reusable Angular components while adhering to best practices for state management, routing, security, and performance optimization.
• Code Review & Quality-Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, design principles, testing practices, and maintainable application architecture.
• Testing & Automation-Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using modern testing frameworks to ensure application reliability and quality.
• DevOps & Deployment Support-Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment processes using modern development and deployment practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Angular Expertise-Strong hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and component-based architecture.
• API Integration-Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based services.
• Frontend Architecture-Strong understanding of application architecture, state management, performance optimization, lazy loading, routing, and security best practices.
• Testing Frameworks-Experience with Vitest, playwright testing frameworks.
• Version Control-Proficiency with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
• Java API Knowledge-Working knowledge of Java api sufficient to understand API integrations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with backend teams.
• Containerization-Experience working with Docker-based development environments.
• Unix/Linux Skills-Basic command-line experience with tools such as grep, less, vi, and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud & Kubernetes-Exposure to OpenShift, Kubernetes, or cloud-native application deployments.
• Accessibility-Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Agile Delivery-Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 – $170,000.00 annually. This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum salary the Company believes it would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, commissions, and/or benefits, as applicable.
