Base pay range

$67.00/hr - $72.00/hr

Overview:

Our client is looking for a Front-End Developer with hands-on experience in BigCommerce, Sitecore, Java, and React to join our team on a contract basis. This is a remote role open to candidates anywhere in the United States. You’ll be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining eCommerce and CMS-driven interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end features for eCommerce and CMS platforms using BigCommerce, Sitecore, and React.

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver responsive, high-performance user interfaces.

• Integrate APIs and manage data flow between front-end components and backend services (often Java-based).

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team standups.

Requirements:

• Experience working with BigCommerce and Sitecore platforms.

• Familiarity with Java in the context of front-end/backend integration.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design best practices.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Version control experience using Git.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with eCommerce ecosystems and headless commerce implementations.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, etc.).

• UI/UX sensibility and ability to collaborate with design teams.

Compensation:

Hourly contract. Competitive rate based on experience.
