Job summary

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• REST API Integration: Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and REST APIs, ensuring proper handling of CORS, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Real-Time Features: Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets to deliver dynamic and interactive user experiences.
• Web Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and meet Core Web Vitals targets, including Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Interaction to Next Paint (INP), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
• Design Systems and Reusable Components: Contribute to and use shared design systems and component libraries, building reusable, well-documented, and maintainable UI components.
• Node.js and Build Tooling: Use Node.js and modern build tools for application builds, bundling, development workflows, and lightweight services.
• Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, follow front-end best practices, and collaborate with QA teams to improve code quality and testability.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• React Development: Proven production experience with React for building and maintaining web applications.
• Angular: Working knowledge of Angular is an advantage.
• API Integration: Experience with REST APIs, CORS, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Real-Time Communication: Hands-on experience implementing WebSocket-based features.
• Performance Optimization: Practical knowledge of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS).
• Design Systems: Experience working with design systems, shared component libraries, and reusable UI components.

Preferred Qualifications

• Node.js and Build Tools: Experience with Node.js and modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or similar technologies.
• Web Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and accessible front-end development practices.
• Front-End Testing: Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
