Job summary

Elmodis is seeking a Frontend Application Test Engineer in the United States to support expanding engagements with large companies. The role emphasizes manual testing and moving toward automated testing to ensure platform reliability.

You will collaborate with the cloud solutions team and product owners during feature development, and you will develop and maintain test specifications, cases, and plans while documenting test results and issues found.

Qualifications

• Min. 3rd year of study and 1 year of experience in application testing.
• Engineering majors preferred as listed; strong testing fundamentals required.
• Fluency in English and good analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing and automate testing to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with cloud solutions team and product owners during development.
• Develop and maintain test documentation (specifications, test cases, test plans).
• Document and report problems and test results.
• Test REST API applications using Postman.

We appreciate graduates of the following majors (min. 3rd year of study and 1 year of experience in application testing): Engineering: Electrical Engineering, Automation and Robotics

Required knowledge of:

• Basic testing theories of IoT systems
• Rules for creating test scenarios
• Principles of creating and using REST API applications
• QA methodology, testing techniques
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Very good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git,GitHub

Responsibilities:

• Conducting manual testing and subsequently automating the process of Testing to ensure smooth operation of the platform
• Collaborating with the cloud solutions team and product owners at the functionality development stage to understand project requirements and verify correct operation before implementing changes
• Developing and maintaining test documentation (specifications, test cases, test plans)
• Documenting and reporting problem results and test results
• Testing REST API applications using the Postman tool
