Front Office Supervisor
SUMMARY

The Front Office Supervisor assists the Director of Front Office in managing daily operations including guest reception, guest services, reservations, and concierge services. This role involves profitable financial management and strategic leadership, contributing as an active business partner supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting department operations and providing direct guest service, leading by example
  • Overseeing arrival and departure experiences to exceed guest expectations
  • Implementing profit and flow-through strategies and programs
  • Reviewing financial and labor reports; suggesting operational adjustments to meet budgets and forecasts
  • Creating and executing department trainings, recruiting, and pre-shift briefings
  • Managing associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling, and department meetings
  • Supporting hotel life-safety systems and emergency preparedness
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in customer service
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of hotel supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Opera, and Outlook
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Birchstreet, HotSOS, and Rex systems preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires walking, standing, and giving directions most of the day. Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours. Physical abilities include grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs occasionally.

The pay range for this role is $26.50 - $27.50 per hour. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, HSA and FSA options, paid time off, disability insurance, and hotel discounts.
