Phaxis in New York is seeking an experienced Front Office Engineer to design, develop, and support a global pricing and analytics platform. You will focus on performance, scalability, and stability to empower investment decision-making.

You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and quantitative teams, delivering robust solutions and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics or a related field.
• Experience building enterprise software in C++ or Python.
• Exposure to market data feeds, pricing / risk systems or trading systems.
• 4+ years' working experience in the buy or sell side in a financial firm.

A high-performing investment firm is looking to add an experienced engineer to its Front Office Technology team. This group builds and supports the systems that directly enable investment decision-making across the business.

This role partners closely with portfolio managers, traders, and quantitative teams to develop scalable, high-performance solutions. It offers broad exposure across strategies and a chance to contribute to the evolution of core trading and pricing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Experience building scalable production level systems in an object-oriented language ( Java or C# )
• Experience working with fixed income derivatives
• 4+ years' working experience in the buy or sell side in a financial firm
