Job summary

Macquarie is seeking an engineer to join the Front Office technology team, developing, deploying, and maintaining software that supports our Commodities business. You will partner with trading desks to deliver positive business outcomes and own your work from design to delivery.

Our Front Office technology team is a collaborative global community of technology enthusiasts who partner with the Commodities and Global Markets business to play a key role in delivering the business strategy. As a member of the team you'll have ownership and accountability for your work, collaborating with business stakeholders to realize new opportunities and see first-hand the positive impact your work has and how it supports revenue growth and operational efficiencies through innovative technology solutions.

What role will you play?

As an engineer in the team, you'll leverage your technical expertise to develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality software systems that support our Commodities business and clients. You'll gain a deep understanding of commodities trading by partnering directly with our trading desks to deliver positive business outcomes. You'll take ownership and accountability for your work, collaborating with senior business stakeholders to realize new opportunities, and see the positive impact on revenue growth and operational efficiencies through technology solutions.

Salary range for this position: $80,000-112,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
