Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in hotel front desk or guest services.
• Experience with Opera property management system preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with guests.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for shuttle duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests check-in and check-out in a courteous, accurate manner.
• Manage reservations, phone calls and guest requests efficiently.
• Maintain lobby area, answer inquiries and provide information on local attractions.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

SHIFT:

Full-Time: 40 Hours per Week

Shift Options: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM | 10:00 AM–8:00 PM | 11:00 AM–9:00

Evening & Weekend Availability Required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a guest services representative, you will be the face of the Radisson La Crosse. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Incoming and outgoing guests, phone calls, reservations and other day-to-day functions of the hotel
• Ensuring timely and impeccable prioritization and organization of your workspace and general lobby spaces
• Presenting a positive attitude and polished appearance to guest and team members
• Communicating effectively with all guests, staff and vendors
• Transport guest to/from airport

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one-year of hotel front desk experience, other hotel experience or experience in a customer service environment
• Experience in Opera system preferred
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a driving record check
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles for transporting guests to and from the airport or as needed.
• Works well independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends
• Working knowledge of computer and math skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of times
• Lift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 75 lbs.
• Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones ect.
